Introducing Crack Headphones, stylishly designed to add sophistication and style to your everyday life. The ultimate personal listening experience is here.
Introduction
At Crack, we strive to revolutionize the audio landscape through groundbreaking product design. The Crack Headphones project exemplifies our dedication to merging top-tier sound quality with intuitive usability, marking a significant milestone as the product advances beyond the design phase. Our objectives were clear: to deliver an unparalleled audio experience tailored to the diverse lifestyles of our users.
Research and Design Insights
Our design process was anchored in extensive user research, employing both primary and secondary research methodologies and incorporating qualitative and quantitative data to capture a wide range of consumer insights.
• User Interviews and Surveys: Direct engagements provided us with valuable feedback on common pain points and preferences.
• Market Analysis: Secondary research helped us understand competitive offerings and identify opportunities for innovation.
These insights directly influenced the defining features of the Crack Headphones, ensuring they meet real-world needs with innovative solutions.

Pain Points
Competitive Audit
During the competitive audit and market research, the major goals were to figure out who our key competitors are, what they are doing right, and what their weaknesses are to help improve our product. The following are the guiding questions used to determine the goals:
• Who are our key competitors?
• What is the best headphone on the market, how much is it, and what quality does it possess?
• What are the competitor's strengths?
• What are the competitor's weaknesses?
Design Process
Concept Development: Initial sketches and digital wireframes were created to visualize potential designs.
Feature Selection: Based on research, key features such as Music Sharing capabilities, Smart Pause functionality, and ergonomic comfort were prioritized to enhance user interaction and satisfaction.
Aesthetic and Functional Refinement: The design was refined to embody a premium look while maintaining practical usability
.
The cups, designed in a triangular shape and easily replaceable, offer a comfortable and customizable fit.

Effortlessly extending and securely holding their position, the sleek telescopic arms ensure a consistent fit and an effective seal.

The stainless steel frame, encased in a uniquely tactile material, combines strength, flexibility, and comfort, delivering an exceptional user experience.

The triangular cups are beautifully anodized and feature a mechanism that allows each cup to rotate independently for balanced pressure.
Logo
Coming up with a name for the headphones was a humorous and imaginative process. After a long day of trying to come up with a name, I decided to take a break, and as I looked around the room, my eyes landed on a crack in the wall. That's when it hit me: "Crack" would be the perfect name for the headphones.
